Guido Albi Marini was born in Naples, Italy and graduated from the Naples School of Economics. He began taking photographs as a young man, inspired by his closest friend’s mother who worked as a photographer. From the beginning, Guido aspired to shoot and transform everyday objects, elevating the ordinary to extraordinary. After college, he worked in a lucrative family business in Italy and honed his craft as a photographer by independently studying with friend and fellow photographer Giovanni Thermes. An influential member of the Benetton Art Academy, Domitilla Sartorio, admired Albi Marini’s work and encouraged him to begin exhibiting. Fourteen years ago, Albi Marini moved to Miami to pursue his artistic career. His work is exhibited internationally and is included in many public and private collections.
